This is a study for a piece I plan to do when I get back from India. The following piece will be a very large painting, so this is just me playing around with colours and light.
Its The Matterhorn (Zermatt, Switzerland) at sunrise. Oil on canvas 40cm x 40cm, with palette knives.

Well, I don't know what you use for the skies - not the knife I guess? - because they look so perfectly smooth, which makes the mountains stand out on them even more and gives them a totally tri-dimensional look. They practically jump out of the picture! Amazing! :wow:
